WHO CAN AFFILIATE TO TORBAY
VOLUNTARY SERVICE?
To affiliate to Torbay Voluntary Service you must:
- have a charitable purpose
- have a local independent voluntary management committee
- have independently annually audited accounts
- operate in the local government district of Torbay
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Affiliation Fee. Per Annum
- £20.00 for groups with no paid staff.
- £25.00 for groups with less than 5 paid staff.
- £30 for groups with 5 or more paid staff.
BENEFITS OF AFFILIATION
- Access to our Database which contains information about local voluntary groups and what they do.
- Free to members, our Newsletter contains useful news and information about local and national volunteering issues.
- Free Publicity on Radio Gemini and in the NETWORK column in the Herald Express and Brixham News each Friday.
- TVS has an established and extensive network with all types of voluntary organisations. By affiliating to TVS organisations can take advantage of this network.
- Concessionary rates for Equipment Hire, Comb Binding, Laminating, Paper and Stationary
- Information and advice on Funding, Fundraising, Recruiting Volunteers, Charity Registration and Law.
- Our Training and Meeting Room Suite is available to members at concessionary rates.
